Museums much!!
Today was amazing. I love this place. In fact, I may never come back. Ok I will I have a job and things to do back in New York. Paris is quite wonderful. Today we did the museum thing. We did that thing all day. Crepes for dinner! But, an interesting thing happened while sitting in the window seat of the little creperie. I had smoked salmon and spinach and while I was quietly enjoying my food, some chutzpadik French teenage girl walked by and grabbed one of my delicious smoked salmon pieces right off my crepe! I was so tired and shocked, I just sat there. Very odd, but I suppose we've all thought about doing it.
I'll let the pictures do the talking for now.....
This is just a few from over 100 I took today! I will find a easier way to post more later.

It's Saturday Night!
Well Shabbat was interesting.....I of course got sick and went to bed before Shabbat came in last night. I did my "Jew thing" as my father calls it and then we walked......all day. everywhere. Saw the Eiffel Tower and walked the Champs Elysees (which my hilarious dad called a "Glorified Outlet Mall which I'm sure the line outside of Louis Vuitton to get in would not find funny). The French truly know what they're doing. Too bad they know it! It's now almost 11 pm and I'm watching the BBC as my father loudly snores next to me. Tomorrow...art.... the Louvre! The Musee Decoratifs! Notre Dame! Monday will be the Marais which is the "Jewish area" so we will enjoy amazing French Kosher food and life along with the Picasso Museum and the Jewish Museum. Tuesday will be Versailles!
I might not be enjoying the nightlife but I'm seeing the true touristy basics of Paris!

in two days i leave for paris
as of right now , i am sitting in my father's house in college station texas. almost as far from paris as i could get. on thursday my father and i leave for my first trip to paris. ok i've been to paris before but that was just sleeping in the charles de gaulle airport when i was 17. but now, i get to really see paris and couldn't be more excited. being a visual arts management graduate (which is really just a fancy business degree for those who love art history) this trip will be amazing. i have planned out each day to go to at least three museums and to eat the most amazing food i can find. while my skills in the french language might no be up to par, i have brought along (well really he's bringing me) my father who speaks french. well his french has a twist with a texas accent. things should be interesting.
the hotel we will be staying at is the hôtel prince de condé in saint-germain des prés

tonight we will be running errands for last minute things we will in paris. of course we are going to wal-mart. maybe i'm the only one that finds that just a little bit funny.
